COOKIE POLICY

INTRODUCTION

Cookies are small text strings that visited sites send to the user’s terminal (usually to the browser used by the user) where they are stored and then retransmitted to the same sites the next time the same user visits it.

Users who view the site will see a minimum amount of information inserted into the devices in use (whether computers or mobile devices), in small text files called “cookies” saved in the directories used by the User’s web browser, for periods of time that vary depending on the need, generally ranging from a few hours to several years, with the exception of profiling cookies whose maximum duration is 365 calendar days.

This document is an integral part of the “Privacy Policy” of Nuova Osmo s.r.l. with headquarters in Via Dr Bellosta 46, San Maurizio D’Opaglio (NO) which is also composed of the informative website and cookies available HERE and is drawn up in compliance with the Provision of the Guarantor of May 8, 2014 published in G.U. n.126 on June 3, 2014, implementing Directive 2002/58/EC.

The decision to organize the information documents in this way derives from the desire to ensure greater clarity, in favor of the user, regarding the meaning, use and deactivation of cookies.

By means of cookies it is possible to record in a semi-permanent way information relating to the user’s preferences and other technical data that allow easier navigation, usage and effectiveness of the site itself. For example, cookies can be used to determine whether a connection has already been made between the visitor’s computer and the site visited to highlight new features or to maintain “login” information.

It should be noted that the user can express their options on the use of cookies on this site (see detailed list below “types of cookies”) also through the settings of the browser / browsers by following the instructions provided. The user can also set the “anonymous navigation” that allows him to surf the internet without saving any information about the sites, the pages visited, any passwords entered and other information parameters that can lead back to his identity.

COOKIES (definizione e descrizione generale)

Cookies are small text strings stored in the user’s browser that assist the Owner in providing the service according to the purposes described.

While browsing on a site, the user may also receive cookies on his/her terminal which are sent from different sites or web servers (so-called “third parties”), on which some elements (such as, for example, images, maps, sounds, specific links to pages of other domains) present on the site he/she is visiting may reside.

Cookies, which are usually present in a very high number in the users’ browsers and sometimes with characteristics of wide temporal persistence, are used for different purposes: execution of computer authentication, session monitoring, memorization of information on specific configurations regarding the users who access the server, etc.. Some of the purposes for which cookies are installed may also require the user’s consent.

In order to reach a correct regulation of these devices, since there are no technical characteristics that differentiate them from each other, it is necessary to distinguish them considering the purposes pursued by those who use them.

In this direction, moreover, the legislator has moved, which, in implementation of the provisions contained in Directive 2009/136/EC, has led to the obligation to obtain the prior and informed consent of users to the installation of cookies used for other purposes than those purely technical (see art. 1, paragraph 5, letter. a) of Legislative Decree no. 69 of May 28, 2012, amended art. 122 of the Code).

Further information on cookies can be found on www.allaboutcookies.org as well as on the website of the Italian Privacy Guarantor, where it is possible to view useful documents concerning the classification of cookies as included in the Provision of the Guarantor of 8 May 2014 published in G.U. n.126 on 3 June 2014, implementing Directive 2002/58/EC.
